Regardless of the age range of the competitors (16 & Under, 14 & Under and 12 & Under) we wanted to create a design that was smart and professional – something in line with the fact that the Junior Tour is a dress rehearsal for life on the professional circuit.
We started by combining action images of players in dynamic compositions with specially shot powders to give a feel of power and acceleration. Colour palettes were introduced to identify assets to specific European nations and typography completed the look.
Over a quarter of a million spectators annually will see the identity in action as they file in to see the tennis stars of tomorrow.
