Inspiring brand activation for UEFA Champions League commercial partners.
UEFA work hard to make every Champions League Final a unique and memorable event. A major component of this is the creation of a Final-specific brand identity. Whilst a huge effort goes into this project research shows that take up of the Final-specific design by sponsors and broadcasters could be improved.
Created to motivate sponsors to ‘buy in’ and utilise the identity we designed for the UEFA Champions League 2013 in London this book contains a summary of the design concept complete with creative suggestions showing how it can be brought to life and leveraged by the UCL sponsors.
The content of the book formed the basis of a digital presentation to sponsors and broadcasters with physical copies given out at the design unveiling in Monaco in August, 2012.
